Let go of the Shore and push off into the middle of the River

No Weapon Formed against me shall prosper!
Someone sent me this in a chain e-mails, but I do believe it is appropriate for the moment.  “God said don’t worry.  So I Won’t.  God has kept me here (in this position) for a reason.  I survived because he has an awesome plan for me.  All my bad supervisors. (He has moved) the bad management choices (he’s currently working on) don’t give up!  The death of love ones, the back stabbing from my co-workers (No weapon formed against me, shall prosper – I’m not even worried).  The negative thoughts or the lack of executive support; I made it and continue to make it because I AM Blessed!  They can’t hurt me!

I release and let go of all past hurts, misunderstanding and grudges because I am blessed! I recognize them as the distractions they are.  For God is all there is.  All else is a lie! Now give yourself a hug, wipe your tears and walk in victory.
Victory!  Great Word…we should be living so that every day is a day of victory, victory is having the power over all obstacles and yes it is possible, lets grab God’s hands and move forward.  The adversary wants us to be caught up in the daily tid bits and worrying about our lives, so that we won’t have the power to go out and do his work and that is in raising up someone else… We have to move away from just worrying about us, we have to ask the good Lord to take care of our daily worries so we can move on to his business.  The problem is that when things go good for us, we decide to relax and forget our responsibility, which is the responsibility to do Gods Work.
Here is something else that hit me today – this is a reading from the Hopi Elders speaking to the tribe:
The Elders, Hopi Nation – Oraibi, Arizona

“You have been telling the people that this is the Eleventh Hour
Now you must go back and tell the people that this is the Hour
And there are things to be considered.
Where are you living?
What are you doing?
What are your relationships?
Are you in right relation?
Where is your water?
Know your garden.
It is time to speak your truth.
Create your community
Be good to each other
And do not look outside yourself for the leader
This could be a good time
There is a river flowing now very fast
It is so great and swift that there are those who will be afraid
They will try to hold on to the shore
They will feel they are being torn apart
And they will suffer greatly
Know the river has the destination
The elders say we must let go of the shore, push off into the middle of the river,
Keep your eyes open, and our heads above the water.
See who is in there with you and celebrate.
At this time in history, we are to take nothing personally Least of all ourselves.
For the moment that we do, our spiritual growth and journey comes to a halt.
The time of the lone wolf is over
Gather yourselves.
Banish he word struggle from your attitude and your vocabulary.
All that we do now must be done in a sacred manner and in celebration.
WE ARE THE ONES WE’VE BEEN WAITING FOR.

Every time I read this it hits me… You know we are always looking at someone else to be the one to carry through the burden and to handle the responsibility.  But the time has come for us to stand up and be counted. Are we going to let all that Jesus went through go for naught. When are we going to get up and be counted… it is now! Now! Not tomorrow….

We need to stop and take count of our area, pay attention to where we are living, yes we are responsible for the whole world, through our prayers and supplication to god, we can include the whole world and the lord will hear our prayers.  What are we doing?  Ask yourself that question, yes what are we doing, what happens if we stop and take stock or inventory of what we are really doing on a daily basis and see how much of what we do, really matters much.  What are your relationship, are we really looking at the people that we associate with are we willing to do a cleansing and remove those that are toxic to us, to those that are keeping us from worshiping god at every moment we can.  Where is your water? This is the most important thing every, they are people around the world that is not getting the most important ingredient that we need for our existence, are we ruining our water that it is bad for others…. Let’s stop and look around the world and really get involve in how we can get clean water to people – very important.
Know your garden – very important – know what we are putting into our mouths, it makes the difference between being healthy or being caught up in all the diseases that they are no cures for…keep an eye on our gardens..  It is time to speak your truth – it is more than the time to stand up and speak the truth… first we have to be able to recognize what truth is…the adversary will have our minds so confused that we start to see wrong as right and right as wrong….it is going to take some grounding and that is staying under the umbrella and being fed by God himself.  We can use his beloved son Jesus the Christ to help us walk through that road, and to be able to get to that point… it may sound so easy to say speak truth, you must first find out what truth is and when you receive that knowledge ask God for the wisdom to know and the understanding to speak it.  “Create your community, be good to each other and do not look outside yourself for the Leader this could be a good time….”   We are all looking for someone else to get us to God, the Israelites who had God in all of their affairs, were so timid that they told him, we want a king, in other words we want someone else telling us what to do, we do not trust ourselves. To trust yourself is believing that God dwells inside of you, and that we are creating a temple where he and his angels and saints can dwell a holy temple.  We are it, we are the altar – Jesus said that greater things will you do in his name… how many of us believe that… by not believing that God can do all things in Christ Jesus we become just like the Israelites, we are lukewarm so we have to be on fire for Jesus and for our God, we have to start working in our home and moving it out to our community and be good to each other.  Don’t let’s look for someone else to do it, we can all pitch in and get the job done.

The message goes on to say “There is a river flowing now very fast.  It is so great and swift that there are those who will be afraid; they will try to hold on to the shore.  They will feel they are being torn apart and they will suffer greatly.  Do anyone of us know the time the hour – no we do not.  But they are some of us who will not want to give up the world and serve God, it would be so difficult for them to give it up and the closer God get to them the more painful it becomes for them, that is because they are so wrap up in satan and his illusions, sometimes he will tell you that you are doing God’s work, but the more you believe him, the more you lose the promises of God.  They will come a time when you will have to choose. “Choose ye this day whom you may serve”  You may try to hold on to that which is no good for you or your soul and you will suffer greatly for that.. So choose God and trust in his promises. “Know the river has its destination, you must let go of the shore and trust God, that he will direct the waves to bring you to shore safely.  The message goes on to say “see who is in there with you and celebrate, take nothing personally least of all ourselves…..The time of the lone wolf is over. Gather yourselves and banish the word “Struggle” from your vocabulary.

You know you go to church and you have your Christian brothers and sisters around you and you understand God and his work.  You are constantly in the fight to save souls and bring as many to God as you can.  But when that time come and you look around and see the fruits of your labor and you look around and see who has also choose God, it is a time of joy and a time to celebrate and give God thanks. It’s the time you look and you can report to Jesus that all that he went through was not in vain; there are still a lot of us who want to come home to God to serve him, praise him and glorify his name.

I want to give God thanks for his words of wisdom, for his mercy, for being with me at all times for directing my pathways. For serving him in spirit and in truth. I also at this time God pray for this world, I know your hands are in everything and Lord you will have your way, not man.  Father I ask for your mercy on the following people: For Sam – Lord bless Sam that he will work things out for your highest good and he will get back into school – lord Jesus remove that demon that believe that he can stop Sam from receiving his good – lord you are Sam's “God” and I know that you love him, lord show him a token for good that he may tell others about your glories, so he can glorify your name and give you thanks and praise.  I also call for the prayers for my friend Joyell – Lord I know that you love Joyell – she is a wonderful warrior for you and I ask lord that as she goes out to serve you lord, that you will send your angels and saints to take care of all of her daily tasks, tid bits and worries.  That you will handle all her needs and that you will bless her and heal her from all infirmities – father remove all ailments from her body, let her know that she is your child and that you love her – show her your good lord and bless her.  I also ask for your blessing for Cathy Ann and family… Lord reign down on them and do not stop, fill their cup till it is full and running over. Father God continue to protect and take care of Pastor Carol, help her lord, take care of her daily tasks lord, answer her prayers and keep her covered under your umbrella, let all good things come into her life, let your angels and saints protect her soul and spirit, that you may always find a home there.  That you will continue to fill her mouth and her mind with your wisdom, knowledge and understanding and increase her finances lord.   I thank you for this day.

Illuminate My Path

In the third year of the reign of Jehoiakim king of Judah, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came to Jerusalem and besieged it. 2 And the Lord delivered Jehoiakim king of Judah into his hand, along with some of the articles from the temple of God. These he carried off to the temple of his god in Babylonia[a] and put in the treasure house of his god.
3 Then the king ordered Ashpenaz, chief of his court officials, to bring into the king’s service some of the Israelites from the royal family and the nobility— 4 young men without any physical defect, handsome, showing aptitude for every kind of learning, well informed, quick to understand, and qualified to serve in the king’s palace. He was to teach them the language and literature of the Babylonians.[b] 5 The king assigned them a daily amount of food and wine from the king’s table. They were to be trained for three years, and after that they were to enter the king’s service.
6 Among those who were chosen were some from Judah: Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah.7 The chief official gave them new names: to Daniel, the name Belteshazzar; to Hananiah, Shadrach; to Mishael, Meshach; and to Azariah, Abednego.
8 But Daniel resolved not to defile himself with the royal food and wine, and he asked the chief official for permission not to defile himself this way. 9 Now God had caused the official to show favor and compassion to Daniel, 10 but the official told Daniel, “I am afraid of my lord the king, who has assigned your[c] food and drink. Why should he see you looking worse than the other young men your age? The king would then have my head because of you.”
11 Daniel then said to the guard whom the chief official had appointed over Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah, 12 “Please test your servants for ten days: Give us nothing but vegetables to eat and water to drink. 13 Then compare our appearance with that of the young men who eat the royal food, and treat your servants in accordance with what you see.” 14 So he agreed to this and tested them for ten days.
15 At the end of the ten days they looked healthier and better nourished than any of the young men who ate the royal food. 16 So the guard took away their choice food and the wine they were to drink and gave them vegetables instead.
17 To these four young men God gave knowledge and understanding of all kinds of literature and learning. And Daniel could understand visions and dreams of all kinds.
18 At the end of the time set by the king to bring them into his service, the chief official presented them to Nebuchadnezzar. 19 The king talked with them, and he found none equal to Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah; so they entered the king’s service. 20 In every matter of wisdom and understanding about which the king questioned them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and enchanters in his whole kingdom.
21 And Daniel remained there until the first year of King

How can I say what my walk has been this past week?  Well a few trials….it’s a tough walk staying under that umbrella….  It was a little tough at work.  After doing fantastic wonderful, knowing that the Lord was with me… It even got to the point that I had my bosses talking about my achievements… which of course I did not like. I felt like that jinx me.but I had to remind myself, that with my growth that should not matter.  For some reason I realize that work is harder… I keep asking God what I need to be doing, what I need to do different. Of course I am looking for an easy yoke.
So now I start meditating, I like it, it makes me closer to God just for that moment.  I also find myself a lot more boisterous… that I have to hold back on my opinions, but something just would not let me shut up.  I was in church last week and there were this beautiful couple with this God bless baby.  I don’t know what made me wanted to push the guy up for prayers.  In so doing I realize that there was something heavy on the girls heart.   I stop to ask her if they were married, of which she told me no and I asked her, why not.  She told me that it was not something he wanted to do.  I do not know why I told her, listen who told him that it was his choice.  So somehow the message came to me to stop and speak to him, of which I did.  I bluntly told him that god is not going to bless you until you do that which is right and get marry and take care of your family.  Of course after I told him I felt like I should not of…. But you know what I don’t care, when you see I don’t do what the Lord ask me to do, I am usually the one getting the beating.
Then a few things reminded me that the Lord is still with me, just keep my ears out for the next lesson to learn.  I was calling one of my owners and don’t ask me why I ended up praying for her, I did not know that she had a situation…. But God just used me that very moment to make that phone call and she was so appreciated, she even said that you had to call me this moment.  So many times you think that you are doing things for yourself, when God is using you.  It’s funny I realize that I love it when the good Lord uses me; it actually felt good to be able to help someone.
My other experience was at church, I had some trials, and I have not been able to figure it out.  But the message was that we need to pray for Israel the country and someone jumped in and said that yes the Muslims are trying to come against Israel.  OK, I really do not like anyone putting down any religion… I always tell people that God had 12 tribes and he called them to serve him differently.  They are good people as well as they are bad people… they are Muslims serving God the same living God, the God of Abraham.  They are fanatics in all religion, and that fanaticism comes from man believing that he is God and that they have the power to judge people.  That they know the mind of God.  We have this in all religion, and we simply have to listen to what God has to say to us individually.  Then there was this woman who came up for prayer, and she confessed that she was once a Gospel singer and all she wants to do is sing Jazz, like she does not want to do the gospel music anymore.  Because of this decision, she lost her marriage and apparently a lot of other things… and her only prayer is that she wanted to sing Jazz.  I kept looking at this woman and realize that this is a woman that served God and loved the lord, but the love is still there, it just shows you how devious the adversary can be.  What I saw was one of Gods Angels, that allowed the world to take her over, but I also saw that God loved her very much and he was not about to let her go.
I realize that this is something that can happen to any one of us.  That why it is so important to get down on your knees and spend some time with God every day, asking for his blessings and to keep his protection over you at all times.  Sometimes you may want to get weary, but you cannot afford to do that, you cannot afford to put down your sword…. The fight is constant; god will continue to give us strength in all of our situations.
That is why this story of Daniel tells us that we may be in all situations, we cannot afford to stop having God feed through our veins, and it is a lesson that tells you to be strong in the Lord and his promises.  To be of good courage. For us to pray one for another.
So today my prayers goes out to Gods angel, who has lost her way… that the holy spirit may come in and administer, to heal her heart and her mind.  To bring back the joy and love she had for serving God.. To love him with all of her heart and all of her soul.  To understand that this world has nothing to offer us, it is only the goodness of the great Good God, that we exist, that we conquer over all diseases, poverty and heart aches.  It is him who does all things.  I believe in his promises and I believe that he will save you and restore all that you may think you had lost; I know he loves you and he will not let you go.
Oh bless my soul, oh my lord and all that is within me bless his holy holy name.
